Greatness met greatness last night as Jay-Z and Michael Jordan were finally introduced to each other at the World Basketball Festival Tip Off Party. At Avenue, the scene was pretty live as other guests like Chris Paul, Rick Ross, Charles Oakley, and Fabolous joined the fun.

J. Cole's debut album is one of the most anticipated of the year, and tracks like the newly leaked "Blow Up" are exactly why. In this "song for [the] haters," Cole is goes in, spitting lines like "She say where your bread at?/And what your whip like?/You ain't got one or the other well brother goodnight!" . Beat-wise, the song sounds like something Kanye West would've done in his Colle Dropout days, with a bit of a harder edge. You can tell just by listening to this that Cole is hungry, and if this song is representative of what he's got in store for us on the album then he really is about to blow up.
