Greatness met greatness last night as Jay-Z and Michael Jordan were finally introduced to each other at the World Basketball Festival Tip Off Party. At Avenue, the scene was pretty live as other guests like Chris Paul, Rick Ross, Charles Oakley, and Fabolous joined the fun.

I'm sure everyone there, all swagged out and sexy, enjoyed the evening and the start to a great weekend. Hov and Michael were nothing but smiles as they shook hands, Michael in a yellow lightweight button-down and Jay-Z in all black everything. The weekend should be an exciting one with all these fabulous people and an abundance of eye candy around town

Dr laura schlessinger is well known for are controversial and insensitive comments, be it on homosexuality , religion, etc. She seems to have made a career out of saying the most outlandish things on her radio show. But its what she said recently that caught my attention, recently on her radio show, she kept repeating the "N" word. Then to make it worse she told one of her callers who was a black woman married to a white man that if she was too sensitive that she shouldn't have married outside her race. J. Cole's debut album is one of the most anticipated of the year, and tracks like the newly leaked "Blow Up" are exactly why. In this "song for [the] haters," Cole is goes in, spitting lines like "She say where your bread at?/And what your whip like?/You ain't got one or the other well brother goodnight!" . Beat-wise, the song sounds like something Kanye West would've done in his Colle Dropout days, with a bit of a harder edge. You can tell just by listening to this that Cole is hungry, and if this song is representative of what he's got in store for us on the album then he really is about to blow up.
